For the Critical Analysis paper, I would like to analyze the inherent bias within the AI platform, ChatGPT. ChatGPT is a large language model (LLM) developed by OpenAI that uses large amounts of training data to generate human-like responses. Although ChatGPT is often viewed as a neutral source of information, its responses may reflect biases found within its training data and the computational processes used to generate language. As ChatGPT becomes increasingly integrated into education and everyday research, questions arise about whether the information it produces can ever be completely objective. This paper will examine whether bias is simply a result of human influence or an inherent characteristic of how ChatGPT processes and generates knowledge.
